Discovered by BBC Introducing in the East Midlands in 2010, Bugg’s music was first heard on 6 Music after Steve Lamacq aired a demo made 18 months before his major label debut.
It’s been a permanent fixture ever since with the station supporting both his chart topping eponymous debut and his follow-up Shangri-La, released last October. Shangri-La was record in Malibu with Rick Rubin, yet another sign of how far Jake’s come.
