The BBC Philharmonic joins forces with IWM North (part of Imperial War Museums) to tell the story of WWI Salford soldier Arthur Burke on BBC Radio Manchester.
Actors and singers will bring to life his letters from the front line, interspersed with reflections and true stories by veterans from contemporary conflicts, whilst musicians from the BBC Philharmonic and Salford Symphony Orchestra will perform an original score.
Following the performance there will be a Q&A session with the writer and director Di Sherlock, composer Richard Taylor and veterans and actors.
Please note that due to the immersive nature of the event and the unique design of the exhibition space there will be some restriction on views.
