How did you start your career at BBC Radio Cumbria? Having written advertising jingles and voiceovers for commercial radio I thought it would be interesting to see things from the other side at a radio station. Where else have you worked? Kent, London, Middle East, Med., South America, Finland. What other jobs have you done besides working at BBC Radio Cumbria? Shoe shop manager, docker and a pianist/singer How long have you worked at BBC Radio Cumbria and why do you like it? I find myself thinking about the radio station when I'm not there. I'm either very sad or it's a great place to be. I enjoy the fact that everyday can be very different and there seems to be a broad mix of interesting people. What would you do if you didn’t work at BBC Radio Cumbria? Continue to gig as a musician. What would listeners be surprised to learn about you? I'm very shy. What do you do when you’re not at work? I love to cook. Italian and Malaysian mostly. Other interesting information? I have a touring caravan and enjoy visiting all the great spots in this country. A lot of the time we don't even leave the county! |
