The Action Desk is our latest community partnership service on BBC Radio Cumbria.
I'm Jemma Bellingham, the Action Desk producer and using the airwaves we're here to help local communities, to provide information and back up support on local radio campaigns and most of all, to provide inspiration.

"We want to help you to get involved".

It may be a local campaign group looking for help, it could be something or someone you've lost - whatever the problem I'm here to help you to make contact with others who can help. If I'm away from the desk my colleague John Lipscombe will be equally delighted to help.

The Action Desk is open from Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm. At any other time you can leave a message and we will get back to you.

You can hear Action Desk bulletins weekdays at 10.40am, 1.40am and 3.30pm.
