When you get through to Money Mountain, the phone answerer will want to know which item you wnt to bid for and how much you wish to bid for it.

Then, they will ask you for you name, address and telephone number. Keep listening to the auction in case someone outbids you - you may want to increase your bid if this happens.

If you are the successful bidder for the item, one of our team will call you back to confirm the details and will tell you how to collect and pay for your lot.

The popular Dial-a-Hymn is where you can pledge money to have a hymn dedicated to a friend or relative or in memory of loved ones.

Dial hymn is on from 7am until 10am and is presented by David Harvey and Donald MacDonald. The hymns this year are sung by the Queen's Hall Methodist Mission Choir.

The auction of goods and services starts just after 10am and continues until 11pm - or until all the lots are sold!

Please note that Money Mountain cannot accept bids for items or pledges for Dial-a-Hymn via e-mail or via the internet.

Also, details of when individual lots will be auctioned are never published in advance - the only way to get a lot you want to bid for is to listen until you hear it.

Those listening to the auction via the world-wide web are welcome to phone in with bids and pledges, but please bear in mind that you may be hearing the auction as much as three minutes late, due to delays which occur when broadcasting via the Internet.
