What we do
The BBC programme acquisition team buys and manages a range of high quality, distinctive and entertaining acquired scripted fiction from around the world - feature films and international drama and comedy series (both English and foreign language) - for transmission on the BBC's television channels in the UK.
Recent feature film premieres include: Mary Poppins Returns, Spider-Man: Far From Home, A Star is Born, Dunkirk, Yesterday, The Darkest Hour, The Death of Stalin, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, and Pain and Glory.
