microscooterIn the new series Eddy has a brief fling with the popular grown-up toy. She finds it ideal for zipping round W11 but has considerable trouble negotiating the stairs down to the kitchen. Also, being chauffeur-driven around town in a limousine is 'so last Millennium, darling' - so dinky smart cars are in for series four.

Mother

MotherEddy’s dotty mother or "that old woman" as Edina is wont to call her. She’s lost her marbles but not her charm. In series four she has her eye on a suave, toupee-wearing actors' agent called Brice and has also taken up salsa dancing. Mother of course is played by June Whitfield OBE CBE.

the Marilyn Manson fadIn a series four episode called Fish Farm, Patsy and Eddy both go to a Marilyn Manson concert and come back with the CDs and T-shirts. This gothic fad doesn’t even last the whole episode.
