A tongue twister is a tricky phrase that’s super fun to say but hard to say fast!

It’s made up of words that sound similar or repeat the same sounds, which makes your tongue trip over itself when you try to say them quickly.

So for example think “She sells sea shells by the sea shore” or “Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.” Tongue twisters are a brilliant way to test your pronunciation, challenge your friends, and have a good giggle when things go hilariously wrong!
