From 'bap' in Scotland to 'cob' in the Midlands, and even 'teacake' in some other places, there are around eight different names for this one tasty treat. These names come from local dialects and traditions passed down over generations.
So next time you ask for a bread roll or a bun, just remember it might be called something totally different only a few miles away!
