Zara Larsson's ultimate fan quiz!

Zara Larsson is one of this year's Radio 1 Big Weekend festival headliners, so we've put together a quiz that tells you everything you need to know about pop's new favourite star! Can you reach the Lush Life of a top score or will you be telling yourself it 'Ain't My Fault' at the end?

Swedish superstar Zara Larsson has been making music since she was young, first bursting onto the mainstream scene by collaborating with MNEK on a hit song Never Forget You before becoming a charting success with her own song, Lush Life in 2016.

But did you know that she actually won the Swedish version of Britain's Got Talent when she was just 10 years old? She's had star power since she was young enough to earn a Blue Peter badge!

She's quite familiar with Blue Peter, too, and actually has her Blue and Music badges from performances and backstage interviews with Abby Cook.

Zara Larsson has been in the charts many times with multiple big hits, but only one so far has managed to reach the coveted UK Number 1 spot. Symphony, her collaboration track with electric music band Clean Bandit soared to Number 1 back in 2017.

Will she be able to do it again? Her latest track Midnight Sun reached the Top 20 in February 2026 before dipping again. The song has since gone viral on social media and is now back in the Top 20 and climbing... Make sure to tune in to Radio 1 to keep track of the Official Charts and see if Midnight Sun can climb even higher!

Zara will be at the Big Weekend on Saturday 23rd May. She'll be performing in the headline slot on the main stage, which also features super stars such as Louis Tomlinson and Skye Newman so it's sure to be a massive night for music!

Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2026 will be taking over Herrington Country Park, Sunderland from Friday 22nd May to Sunday 24th May, with over 100,000 music fans expected to attend across the weekend!

One Blue Peter viewer aged 6-12 will have the chance to win an exciting opportunity to attend Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sunderland and feature on Blue Peter.

You’ll get to watch all the live music plus you’ll get a backstage tour; meet some of the Radio 1 presenters and receive an Orange Blue Peter badge.

The competition opened for entries at 5pm on Friday 13th March 2026 and will close at 6pm on Wednesday 15th April 2026.

The Live Lounge is very special. It is world famous and popular with the biggest stars in music, having featured icons and legends like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Olivia Dean and Harry Styles!

It's where stars come to perform their latest songs, favourite hits and special covers from their own favourite artists. The Live Lounge has seen bands and artists cover unusual songs for their genre, such as rock band Biffy Clyro covering Golden by KPop Demon Hunters!
