Five EPIC animal activities to try
Spring has sprung and there are birds, insects and adorable baby animals everywhere! You may be spending a little more time than usual indoors at the moment but fear not, we’ve got animal lovers covered with five great ways to feel ANIMAL-TASTIC.
1. Draw your pet
Sergio Martins was an animator on the movie Klaus. He came to show us how to draw Henry in the style of Klaus, and he did not disappoint!
Why not give it a go yourself? You could try and draw Henry along with Sergio or have a go at drawing one of your own pets. Don't worry if you don't have a pet, you could try drawing an animal you spot in your garden or whilst out on a walk. You can even earn yourself a Blue Peter badge if you send us your animal art!
2. Help our insect friends
This beetle hotel is the perfect make to give the creepy-crawly friends in your back garden a home. M.G Leonard, is the author of 'Beetle Boy' and she's here to show you how to make your very own beetle hotel.

3. Learn about creepy crawlies

4. Read and write stories about animals
Author Kimberlie Hamilton reads a story to Henry from her book Rebel Dogs. This story is about a brave German Shepherd called Khan who served in the British Army during World War 2. Kimberlie was so inspired by animals that she's written books about them!
Maybe you could listen along with your pet? Or even better, read one of your fav stories to them? It's a great way to bond with your pets and maybe you'll find a story that they really, really love!
