Make the Blue Peter 2025 puppet Christmas card

First, take a piece of paper/card and fold the long edge in towards the middle – about a third of the way in and fold it down.

Then, fold the other long edge in about a third and use the glue to stick that down.

Then, flip the paper over and fold it in half. And then fold the edges back in on themselves, to create an M shape.

Take another slip of paper – this one is about a third of an A4 piece, and fold this almost in half – but leaving a fingers width at the top.

Then, where the fold is, fold up another finger’s width from the bottom.

Open that up. The fold in the middle here is where the mouth will go on the card. Then line up the other bit of paper to make sure the face isn’t too big.

Now it’s time to draw the design. This could be anything, perhaps a Blue Peter presenter, a Christmassy character or even one of your friends or family like grandparents, aunties, uncles... You name it, you draw it!

Once your drawing is done, it’s time to cut the face out.

After that, cut down the middle, so the top and bottom of the face have a little edge to stick down.

Then stick down the two halves of the face onto the ends of the M shaped piece of paper.

Now you just need to write on another slip of paper and stick it in your card.
