The Faraday Museum is home of world-changing science of the Ri since 1799. The museum is dedicated to Michael Faraday who discovered electro-magnetic induction, electro-magnetic rotations, the magneto-optical effect and more. Visitors can learn about Faraday and see his laboratory and instruments.

Free entry for badge holders

The Faraday Museum is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can get into for free.

To gain free entry, each child must have a Blue Peter badge, a valid Blue Peter badge ID card and be accompanied by a full paying or concessionary adult. If a paying adult is accompanied by two children with badges and valid badge cards, free entry will be given for both children.

If a disabled badge holder is accompanied by a registered carer, both can gain free entry. Carers must bring supporting documents.
