Geevor Tin Mine
Closed as a working mine in 1990, Geevor Tin Mine is now a preserved mining site and museum, the largest preserved mine site in the country. Visitors can discover how tin was mined here, explore the many surface buildings with their magnificent mining machinery, get interactive in the Hard Rock museum and go underground into 19th century Wheal Mexico mine!

Free entry for badge holders
Geevor Tin Mine is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can get into for free.
To gain free entry, each child must have a Blue Peter badge, a valid Blue Peter badge ID card and be accompanied by a full paying or concessionary adult. If a paying adult is accompanied by two children with badges and valid badge cards, free entry will be given for both children.
If a disabled badge holder is accompanied by a registered carer, both can gain free entry. Carers must bring supporting documents.
