Creswell Crags

Creswell Crags is a limestone gorge honeycombed with caves, in which Neanderthal and Early Modern Humans occupied during the last Ice Age leaving behind flint tools, bones, and even Rock Art! There is stunning scenery to be explored, a café with tasty treats, gift shop and a museum with the earliest known coloured engraving, a 40,000 year old hyena skeleton and even an Ice Age sewing kit!There are fully accessible toilets, baby changing, and dogs are welcome on site. Cave tours run daily, for timings please call in advance.

Free entry for Blue Peter badge holders

Creswell Crags is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can get into for free.

To gain free entry, each child must have a Blue Peter badge, a valid Blue Peter badge ID card and be accompanied by a full paying or concessionary adult. If a paying adult is accompanied by two children with badges and valid badge cards, free entry will be given for both children.

If a disabled badge holder is accompanied by a registered carer, both can gain free entry. Carers must bring supporting documents.

Please note that the free entry is for the Ice Age Cave tour and exhibition.
