Colchester Castle

Colchester Castle is the largest Norman Keep in Europe and showcases archaeological collections covering 2,500 years of history, including some of the most important Roman finds in Britain. Visitors also have the chance to try building a Norman archway, excavating a Roman doctor's grave, and steering a chariot around Colchester's recently uncovered Roman Circus!

Free entry for badge holders

Colchester Castle is one of over 200 attractions around the UK that Blue Peter badge holders can get into for free.

To gain free entry, each child must have a Blue Peter badge, a valid Blue Peter badge ID card and be accompanied by a full paying adult. If a paying adult is accompanied by two children with badges and valid badge cards, free entry will be given for both children.

If a disabled badge holder is accompanied by a registered carer, both can gain free entry. Carers must bring supporting documents.
