What an amazing site. I did not realise there was so much Artwork owned by the public. Thanks to the BBC for enlightening us to the vast collection of art and it's whereabouts. Hopefully this will encourage the institutions, charged with the care of this art, to display them so that we can see them. I especially enjoyed the 'Guides'. This subject would make a very stimulating programme. I would enjoy the views of poeple who love art but do not necessarily work in this field. Poeple susch as Frank Skinner, Monty Don or Matt Baker. Well done BBC.

I am excited to see how Your Paintings does. My gf and I are a big fan of viewing art. Do you have an idea of when this will be available?

This sounds like a very exciting way to share art! I recently went to something called nuit blanche which is a free public art displace around Toronto in Canada. Its a lot of fun and really opening and inspiring.
