Success at the First BBC Scottish Writers’ Festival
The first BBC Scottish Writers’ Festival took place in the heart of Glasgow on 19 March. Presented by BBC Writersroom and BBC Scotland, the event brought together some of Scotland’s most respected writers, execs and producers to offer practical insights into the development and production process.
Comedy Conclusion
BBC Writersroom’s first ever Comedy Room has drawn to a close. The scheme launched in October, 2015 when 17 up and coming writers were selected from Writersroom’s open talent searches, alongside input from BBC Comedy (TV & Radio).
