Mixed, muggy & maybe sunny?

This week’s forecast is very unsettled, but at least that means we won't get bored with the conditions! If you are going to the Royal Welsh Show be sure to take a rain coat and sunscreen with you.

Monday is a muggy day mixed with some sunshine and a fair few showers. Through Monday night it will become drier and fresher. At first there will be some clear spells which will cloud over again in the overnight period.

For the first week of the school holidays we can expect some sunshine with a few showers sneaking around. This is all down to low pressure controlling our weather from the north west.

We can expect mainly dry weather across Wales on Tuesday but there's always the risk of a shower! Although there is a lot of cloud around too I am confident the sunshine will break through with the help of the south-westerly breeze moving showers along. This should also feel cooler and less humid.

Wednesday and Thursday will be very similar. It should remain largely dry with good spells of sunshine. The threat of showers is always there but at least there will be brightness in between. There's a lot of uncertainty for Friday's forecast so please check closer to the time. There are early indications of high pressure making an appearance on Saturday to bring about a fine and sunny day.

Talking of fine days here's a lovely scene sent in by Ann Riggs, taken on the Blue Lagoon, Abereiddy.
