Please don't think we do this for all our stand-in presenters, but there's a real treat for Tom Price today. Tom, who made his name in Torchwood, has been doing Saturday afternoons for us in May and June and he sits in for Eleri Sion between Monday and Wednesday this week.
Tom's a big Manic Street Preachers fan, so I know he'll be looking forward to interviewing the band at 2.30pm today. The Manics are our Radio Wales Artist of the Week, as they promote Walk Me To The Bridge - the first song of their new album Futurology.

Saturday sees Tom's final show of his current weekend run at 4pm – just after Wales have bounced back and beaten South Africa in the second test in Nelspruit! Radio Wales Sport is on air at 1.30pm. Meanwhile the Manics are joined on the brand new Radio Wales playlist by Welsh artists Colorama, Caroline Harrison, Bright Light Bright Light and David Gray, as well as George Ezra, Coldplay, Dolly Parton, The Pierces and Kate Perry.
As part of the station's coverage of the World War One centenary, we've been spending some time with the Queen's Dragoon Guards to understand how the roles in an army regiment have evolved over a century. The QDG are currently serving in Afghanistan, and will be one of the last British regiments to withdraw from the country at the end of the year. Charlotte Dubenskij spent some time with the regiment before they were deployed. You can hear her reports on Good Morning Wales all this week. Meanwhile, our World War One at Home series continues with Roy Noble on Sunday morning.
Other highlights this week include former Cabinet Minister Lord Fowler talking about his campaign to keep HIV and Aids high on the agenda (Steffan Garrero, Tuesday at 12pm); actor John Hannah is with Tom (Tuesday at 3pm), Mal Pope takes Wynne Evans' Big Welsh Weekend to the Dinefwr festival on Friday at 1pm; Roy Noble speaks to Rebecca Evans on Sunday morning at 10.30, and finally the Radio Wales book programme, Phil The Shelf, returns on Sunday at 5pm.
