Children in Need Day will be a busy one for Wynne Evans. Before anyone says it, no he's not being Pudsey! This year Wynne is the face of BBC Wales' TV coverage in the evening and will be joined by Katherine Jenkins at the Riverfront Theatre in Newport. Earlier in the day, he's taking the Big Welsh Weekend to Duffryn High School in the city. Although, because of his TV commitments, he needs to leave before the end of the programme, so will be auditioning the pupils for the honour of presenting the last ten minutes of the show. No, no, really. Find out what fate befalls us on Friday at 1pm.
Good luck to everyone who's being a hero for this year's event. Last year, we raised £1,475,099 in Wales for Children in Need. Together we can beat that.

Elsewhere, it's Armistice Day on Tuesday and there's another chance to hear Angela Graham's beautiful exploration of First World War Memorials, Of Mourning and Memory, at 6.30pm. Earlier, Ollie will be presenting Morning Call live from the new British Legion pop-in centre in Cardiff. We will, of course, be marking the two minutes silence during Jason Mohammad's show.
Both our international sides are in action this weekend. Sam Warburton and his men look for their first win of the Autumn International series against Fiji on Saturday. On Sunday, Ashley Williams, Gareth Bale and the team take on a strong Belgium side in Brussels. Radio Wales Sport will be live for both. For the second week in a row, you can either Call Rob Phillips or Call Rick O'Shea with your thoughts, Saturday at 5.30pm.
Paper Aeroplanes are back with a new album and a new single. You can hear Guessing Game through the output this week, as Pembrokeshire’s finest take up the honour of the Radio Wales Artist of the Week.
Meanwhile, Eleri Sion is joined by Culture Club on Thursday and Keith Lemon today (*hides under the desk*). Dylan Thomas’ granddaughter, Hannah Ellis, will no doubt bring a little decorum to today’s show when she announces the winners of Literature Wales’ Developing Dylan Young Writer’s competition.
