If last week was Black Friday, this week it’s White Friday when Wynne Evans officially launches Christmas – and not a moment too soon. It includes the Radio Wales Christmas schedule and the first Christmas music on the station. Highlights will also include Ragsy (former Welsh contestant on The Voice) with his interpretation of Aled Jones’ classic ‘Walking In The Air’. Mince pies are banned until 1pm on Friday 5 December.
For those of you who weren’t around the first time, here is the original version of Walking in the Air from our own favourite Sunday presenter (here every week at 1pm).

This week we launch our Radio Wales advent calendar on Facebook: 24 choice best bits, funny moments, videos, pictures and other treats (yet to be decided), which will roll out once a day as playable video clips on our Radio Wales Facebook page.
This week for a bit of a change, there's no single Welsh Artist of the Week.
Instead we'll be playing a selection of recordings from Horizons artists as they've just spent a very special weekend recording sessions in the legendary BBC Maida Vale studios, following in the footsteps of some of the greatest artists in the world and working with some of the most respected sound engineers in the business.
