Blackpool Results Show

Last night saw a continuation at the top of the Strictly leader board with our top couple retaining their privileged position. Overall, the standard remained very high with dazzling performances including: Anita and Gleb’s powerful Paso Doble, Kellie and Kevin’s hardworking Quickstep and Jay and Aliona’s sizzling Salsa.

It was Georgia and Giovanni who again took the top spot on the night though, with a score of 38. Their American Smooth to 'I Have Nothing' by Whitney Houston got them a huge score and plenty of love from the judges.

Unfortunately it was left to Peter and Janette to prop up the leader board with a score of 29. Their swinging 60’s themed Jive failed to impress the judges and left the previous leader board toppers in unfamiliar territory. However, there was some consolation as Head Judge Len said he always enjoyed watching Peter dance.
