Week Ten Results Show

Last night saw an incredibly high standard of dance as it came to crunch time in the competition. The couples had to learn not one but two dances, as they competed in the Quickstep-a-thon which had an extra 7 points up for grabs for the winning couple.

After the seven couples performed their first dance, Helen and Aljaz saw themselves top of the Leader board with 39 points for their beautiful Viennese Waltz closely followed by Jay and Aliona with 38 points for their Tango. Most in need of extra points from the Quickstep-a-thon were Peter and Anita, who were joint bottom with 31 points each. In fact, only Peter, Jay and Helen saw an improvement in their score from last week.

Following the slightly chaotic Quickstep-a-thon, Helen and Aljaz further cemented their place up the dizzying heights of the Leader board with an extra 7 points for first place, giving them a very respectable total of 46! However Peter and Janette found themselves in a perilous position at the bottom of the Leader board after being awarded last place. Catch up on the full Leader board scores here.
