Week Eight: Leaderboard

With Blackpool just one week away, our Strictly stars really brought their A-game to the Ballroom this Saturday - and some of our couples found themselves firmly in our Judges' good books.

Saffron and AJ's Waltz bagged them their highest score to date, topping the leaderboard with an impressive 39 points, while Michelle and Giovanni closely followed with 36 for their sassy American Smooth.

Meanwhile Mike and Katya occupied the bottom end of the leaderboard with a score of 25 for their Paso Doble, with Chris and Karen just one point ahead with 26 for their fiery Tango. 

Each couple wants nothing more than to dance in the Blackpool Tower next week, but not all eight of our pairs can make it through. Before we find out who has got a spot in Week Nine, our incredible Pros will perform a moving Remembrance Day routine, and star of stage and screen Luke Evans is stopping by with a gorgeous rendition of Bring Him Home.
