Goodbye Carol

The sun has finally set on Carol’s sparkle-filled time on Strictly. Come rain or shine, she always had a smile on her face but she sadly couldn’t weather the competition.

Carol and Pasha attempted to storm the dance floor with their American Smooth last night but found themselves in peril at the bottom of the leader board with just 17 points – which is just one point more than they got for their Week One Cha Cha and 5 points below their top score for their Week Four Paso Doble.

There was a shock entry to the dance off when it was revealed Carol and Pasha would be competing against Kellie and Kevin who found themselves in danger after scoring a very respectable 32 points for their Waltz. It was also the first time Kevin has ever been in the dance off.

In our exclusive video, the celebs and pros say a very fond farewell to the forever smiling Carol and tell us what they’ll miss most about her. Aljaz says “In seven weeks I haven’t seen her without a smile on her face!” Kellie commented “I love Carol Kirkwood. She’s one of the sunniest, most beautiful people - both inside and out - that I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know.”
