Movie Week: Results Show

Last night saw Hollywood come to Borehamwood as the Strictly dance floor lit up with routines inspired by films, from Pirates of the Caribbean to Some Like It Hot to Lady and the Tramp! As an added Brucey Bonus, Janette and Aljaz introduced an awe-inspiring opening dance which saw our Strictly stars take on classic roles from Tinsel Town… we’re a little bit in love with Jeremy Vine as Forrest Gump, and Kellie Bright was simply extra-terrestrial in her cameo homage to E.T as she cycled through the air.

But there was just one dance that everyone was talking about as the curtains came down… that blockbuster moment everyone was waiting for. Jay and Aliona’s Jive from Pulp Fiction was the Oscar winning performance of the night, earning them an impressive 37 points, and the first 10 of the series from Bruno.

Carol and Pasha were languishing at the bottom of the leader board though after being awarded 17 points for their South Pacific inspired Quickstep.
