Stacey and Kevin win Strictly 2018!
From documentary star to dancefloor star, Stacey Dooley has smashed the competition and won Strictly Come Dancing 2018 with her Pro partner Kevin Clifton!

Her natural dance ability took us all by surprise from the get-go, and she's really proved herself week-on-week across the competition. In the Grand Final, the couple performed two of their routines again - a Foxtrot to Hi Ho Silver Lining as their Judges Pick and a Paso Doble to Malaguena as their own favourite - before stunning us all with a spectacular Show Dance to Land of a Thousand Dances.
All their hard work paid off as they lifted the Glitterball Trophy, with Stacey pouring praise on Kevin for supporting her throughout their Strictly journey. "It’s no coincidence that he’s been in the Final as many time as he has. You’re patient, you’re talented, your choreography is second to none."
"I’ve had the most incredible time and you know what, it’s daunting doing something you haven’t done before. You feel silly, feel like a bit of an idiot, but Kevin walks you through. You so deserve this!" she said.
Kevin also couldn't thank his celebrity partner enough, adding: “Thank you so much, not just for being so amazing and dancing so well and getting this [the trophy], but just for being the most wonderful person to work with. To spend every day in training, you’ve worked so hard and always with a massive smile on your face. You’re so lovely and I just think the absolute world of you. Thank you so much.”
The delightful dancing duo beat off strong competition from Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice, Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell and Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev to take the Glitterball Trophy. And what worthy winners they are!
So that's it for 2018! Congratulations to our winners and all the amazing couples that took part in the competition this year. It really has been a series to remember.
But while the show many be over, we still have the Strictly Christmas Special to look forward to, which hits BBC One on Christmas Day at 5.30pm.
Thank you all for watching and thank you for all your love and comments on our blog posts across the past few months. Until next year... Keeeeeeep dancing!
