Week 5 - Results Show - 30 October

Hi all,



Just thought I would be the first to comment loved the show last night some couples stepped up to the mark other couples have lost their mojo while one couple simply needs to give up thje ghost and admit defeat we all know who I refer to there.



Will comment after the results show but let's hope we get a fair vote and a fair result.

Agree with Fergal. Don't know what the public are playing at, it really is unfair to keep the hopeless causes. I wish the judges would give Russell some credit for the fact that he CAN dance to some degree. He may have a rotund body but he does have rhythm and really does try to improve, whilst others think they are God's gifts and rely, (mistakenly), on reputation, good or bad, and lewd postures (aka Robbie, his thrusting was totally inappropriate for a family show, and also for Ballroom Dancing!!). And yes, the useless one MUST go tonight. I have said before and am saying again, 'why can't the beeb give Anton a partner with half a chance!!!

Evening Strictlychums, well nearly that time again - oooh wonder who is going tonight? Me thinks Nancy or Audley, although I really think Audley is a gent.

In fairness to the beeb Nancy can dance. Craig even recognizes this as he showed with his comments during last weeks results show. I am not a Nancy fan by any stertch of the imagination but I did watch her training video prior to the start of the series and although she wasn't brilliant I remember commenting at the time that having watched all the training videos there was nobody who was a stand out dance disaster waiting to happen. The only way I could see a dance disaster (I said) was if the couples got stage fright and it seems that is what has happened to Nancy although having said that her confidence wouldn't have been helped by the feather boa disaster during her waltz on the opening week of the series. It seems like she is able to produce something respectable or promising in the training room but it goes to pot on the live show which is unfortunate.

well there is only one to go tonight and she should of gone week 1 bye nancy!

Evening all - I wasnt able to see last nights performance, did I miss anything exciting or really bad?

Not really brunoslovechild, very mediocre night last night - expected a really exiting halloween treat but I think most people were a little dissapointed.

Evening - well based on last nights performances anyone but Jason to go!

Based on the principle I mentioned at the start that those who are have been in the bottom 2 with the public are on the publics hit list and so far the only 2 couples to have been in the bottom 2 are Audley and Nancy so it wouldn't suprise me if at least one (if not both of them) were back in there this week. The only others who I feel deserve to be down there are Robby and Russell

Really pleased for Alex and James. Also Chelsee after the dress mishap. finers crossed for Audley, although his jive was not good, there is someone else who deserves to go first

Audley can't jive, but then shot-putters can't run the 100 metres either. He was on a hiding to nothing, really. Let's hope that we are saved from any more of what is appearing more and more like Anton getting his revenge on Nancy for not getting on with her better in training. The clips they show have him generally looking irritated with her. He may have good reason, but isn't that just the gig and something he should be more grown-up about?

Isn't one of these boys Zoolander? Sounds very Eurovision.

I was right about Audley & Natalie being in the bottom 2. I just I am completely right in that Nancy is also in the bottom 2 and goes home this time. Audley has more to give than Nancy as he has the ability to produce more often than not on show night whereas Nancy doesn't because of getting stage fright on show night.

I am glad that Jason & Kristina made it through but despite a good performance I felt they were horribly ovemarked. Craig & Len picked on Harry for a lack of content and time in hold and yet Jason had even less ballroom content and even less time in hold than Harry so they should have got a similar score if not less

Audley has much more potential especially in the ballroom dances. Just have a feeling he is not being voted for.

@ mike #38. The BBC don't claim that the Sunday show is live. Yes everyone I.e tess say Sunday show but everyone knows it is recorded. I think somewhere on this site in the small print it also states that the Sunday show is per recorded on Saturday.

Big mistake BBC

Last week and also at the top of the show I felt that the bottom 2 could well be Audley and Nancy and I have been proved correct. I think a lot of you will echo my thoughts in hoping that it is 3rd time unlucky for Nancy because as I said in my previous post Audley has more to offer than Nancy as he tends to deliver on show night, something Nancy seems incapable of doing because of her live show night nerves.

Hooray! The worst dancer has gone. It wouldn't suprise me though if Audley is back in the bottom 2 next week if he has another latin. Let's hope for his sake it is a ballroom routine for him next week

It is most unfair that the other contestants are pitted against a professional singer and dancer like Jason Donovan. He has danced and sung professionaly in big west end shows and therefore should not qualify for the contest.

Fi, what I said was. How come that Anton can suddenly have his Halloween make-up on, then go into a ballroom dance, then back into his Halloween make-up. Not bad for a live show.

Knew it had to happen but sorry to see Nancy go. What a nice, fun lady, with a super sense of humour. Might have b een nice for Anton to have been a bit more serious about her training but tonight they actually DID the dance. But not good enough I know. Nevertheless, lovely lady.

Justice has finally been done! Nancy may be a very beautiful woman, but in all the weeks she has been in Strictly she seems to have learned NOTHING! Anton always seemed to have to drag her about the floor and often having to resort to illegal lift, eetc to make the routines spectacular.



At least Audley seemed to have learned something about dancing. It was just a shame that the jive was not his dance.



Now.... we have a true Strictly Come Dancing which may be judged more on dancing than popularity!

FINALLY! Just did a celebration dance around the living room.

I am a huge fan and love all things Strictly, but would really like to know why you pretend that the results show is not filmed on Saturday night??? We all know and it is just so silly!!!!! Gripe over!

I must admit I feel that Nancy was game for the show, but lacked too many attributes (and possibly possessed one or two too many as well) to make her a pleasure to watch. It may just be me, but her outfit 'tonight' sort of summed things up - standing up, I thought she looked quite nice, but when she was sitting with Claudia I thought she looked like a bit like a footballer.

Well, you can definatley tell that Anton has had enough. JUST GIVE HIM SOMEONE REASONABLY GOOD!!

Hurrah, sorry but am glad Nancy has gone, can't dance, not entertaining, too much make up, too full of herself..
