Was looking round for the fan page for Team Dobbin and could not get it greetings from Ireland loved the American Smooth last week inspired good luck for this week if you can come back bigger and better you should ace this no problem.

Forgot to say will be keeping my fingers crossed for the both of you to get through to the following week and Anita you have a great teacher in Robin and you make a great combination as a team.

I loved the Salsa! I've watched it about five times - it's so much fun can't help smiling. Anita you are an inspiration to us 'Ladies of a Certain Age' I hope you continue to enjoy the dancing and I look forward to watching you dance for many more weeks.

I think of 'Dobbin' as being a panto horse! Which you are not in any way shape or form. Loving your routines; Anita you are just a delight to watch. Good luck for Saturday and, oh, can I adopt Robin please?

I love the work he did with Patsy last year, especially their Halloween number to "Monster Mash," which I still have saved on You-tube..wonderful, camp stuff.



I think he's struck pay-dirt with Anita this year and I'd love to see them go really far and find his choreography much more full of actual dance content than some of the other acts.

I would like to know where Anita got the gorgeous jacket she wore on Strictly Take Two during the week (2.11.11). It is just the sort of thing I want to find for my son's wedding. Would appreciate any info from Anita or anyone else. Apologies this is a non dancing question. Need to say also - Anita is doing brilliantly and a great champion for us more mature women!!

Yep, she was out of synch a few times, but for me, this, along with Pasha and Chelsee's were the highlights of the evening.

I'm fascinated as to what dance these two are given next.



What I love about Robin's choreography is that he very quickly seems to get down to business and keeps the use of props acting to a bare minimum..



I loved the fact that they had to get back to the "bar," in time to pour the drink on Saturday, but apart from a short spurt at the beginning, almost the whole routine consisted of actual dancing.



I too hope they'll go all the way, though they are admittedly up against some seriously strong competition, but I think he could do better than he did with Patsy last year and I totally loved their combination.

Go Team Dobbins!!! It was a fantastic performance last Saturday (as well as the Halloween performance the week prior). Being from across the Atltantic, I can't see the show through the BBC iplayer. But I was so happy that vacation plans took me to Dublin and I was able to watch Anita and Robin dance over two weekends.



I had the pleasure of a dance with Anita at the Lady Ratlings ball in 2010. And she can certainly dance (even with my two left feet). Best wishes to Team Dobbins from your biggest supporters in the United States! Chaucer and I know that you will be the winners at the end of this year's series.

You both did great at the weekend, and in no way deserved to be in the bottom two. Your enjoyment of dancing together is a delight to watch.

We shouldn't have been in the bottom two - Anita's performance was amazing, she meant business!! Loved Brian's reaction to his wife's performance on Saturday night, that was one very proud man. Go Team Dobbin!!!

Poor Anita looked absolutely devastated to be in the bottom two and quite rightly too. She got a good score and didn't deserve bottom two. She and Robin were in the danger zone. Hopefully their supporters will get behind them for next week.

Poor old Anita and Robin being in the bottom two this week, I don't think for 1 minute that anyone wants Anita to leave the competition just yet, it was just that people thought she danced well and that she'd be ok.

what was that argentine tango tune you danced so brilliantly to? it almost sounded like a James Bond theme - and you were both fab-u-lous!!!

I think it was possibly a case of people thinking she was safe, but also that she's not in the public eye as much as she used to be and people, as we all know, vote for reasons other than an objective look at the dance itself.



If we were able to vote for longer, I'd certainly've registered my vote for Anita+Robin..I thought it was a lovely routine..

Have commented on the "general" blogs about the rapport you two have. Just thought I'd mention it again here. Where do you get your energy from Anita? Must be the adrenalin flowing! But anyone can see your total comittment to the task in hand and your genuine love of being taught to dance. Although having said that, you are not without a set of twinkle toes just waiting to be released. Good partnership! Good luck! Anita's Tango was one of the most enjoyable dances I've seen on Strictly, full of steamy drama, passion and story-telling. I can see why Len gave her Tango a higher mark than Harry's (which was also brilliant) as he said the Tango is all about creating a mood, and Anita and Robin excelled at that on Saturday. I was shocked and upset to see her in the bottom two, just can't understand it. Anita, I know you will pull youself up, get out there and dazzle us for many weeks to come yet! Good luck in Wembley

Anita, you were always a marvelous actress, even from your early years at secondary school and were also full of fun. Now you are a fantastic dancer and you and Robin make a great team with great rapport. Hopefully being put in the bottom two last Saturday was just a blip as no way should you have been there - my heart was in my mouth! Don't worry about typos - I'm getting worse as I get older.



I did know Anita when we were at secondary school and what I said about her was true. She still seems totally unspoilt and as enthiusiastic as ever. Yes my maiden name was Harrison so hope it works as a good omen. Hopefully at least one other of our school friends will comment soon.



Yes, Robin does seem to respect Anita and it is obvious that they are enjoying themselves.

It does seem very hard that comedy acts are given better marks than genuine dancers. No way should Rory have gone out so early either.



Audley seems a lovely chap to say that he would have offered to stand down. It was obvious from the way he was talking to Anita, after the result was announced, that he was pleased for her and she seemed so upset for him.

Come on Anita you are doing so well, go to win. I am a year younger than you but look much older!!!!!! So with Robin who is obviously a brilliant teacher do please prove those young Lads (Irish Band) that winning is not just for 'younger contestants'..... This may not be allowed on the blog as maybe I am being 'youngist' (reverse of ageist) but sixty's can be the start of a whole new life and you are a fabulous example of fitness, tone, sparkle and charisma. In fact I think you are an inspiration to the younger contestants as you are the couple that is best developing respect and understanding of each other. I love Anita and Robin..but I think Wembley, which I didn't enjoy as much as the studio programmes for all sorts of reasons, was not their best dance by far.



However, I'm pleased they've made it through, because, when things return, thankfully to normality next week, they'll hopefully be able to concentrate on producing a great dance, rather than having to deal with the "Arena."

Brilliant Anita and Robin. I don't know how you manage to learn a new dance routine each week for yourselves and also the other group dances such as the Queen and Beatles routines - so much energy and memory required for those also. They were fantastic as well. I loved it when Brian crept up behind the judges in their Bohemian Rhapsody routine and surprised them ans also the way he is supporting both of you. Also it is lovely the way that Anita is so effusive in her thanks to her voters.

It was also a marvelous idea to start the routine amongst the audience. It got them on your side from the start.

I was so pleased that you were not in the bottom two this week and it was great that your names were announced early your could almost her everyone saying under the breath 'YESSS'. Your obvious joy of learning to dance is wonderful to see - do we know what your next dance is going to be? I do wish the dances could be announced at the beginning of each week.

Just popped in from Team Chasha to wish Anita all the best for Saturday with her new partner Brendan - hopefully all will go well with you on Saturday. Think this is going to be crunch week for all the dancers now Russell has left. Stakes are really high now with two dances to perform and whoever gets through will have two more to learn the following week. Should make for very exciting viewing!

Well done Anita! Can't have been easy learning TWO new dances with an unfamiliar partner. However I thought you gave it your all as you always do, and Brendan did you proud. Lots of warmth and encouragement coming through. Never really warmed to the guy before but tonight he danced so wonderfully, and yet still managed to showcase you, which is how it should be. He might even make it on to the Christmas card list!

Nice touch from Robin, sending a message to you both. But then, nice guy. Hope he's fast on the road to recovery.

I've just watched Anita's dance on my V+ and thought she was amazing. She is so fit and capable, what a brilliant entertainer! Love her!

I loved Anita's cha cha choreographed by Brendan - Anita looked happy dancing it and Brendan seemed very happy with her. The other thing I love to see is her husband Brian supporting her in the audience every week - I do hope he may now decide to also learn to dance sometime in the future. Loved the fact that Robin send in a good luck message to her - that must have meant a great deal. Whatever happens this week Anita can be so very proud of herself she has achieved exactly what she set out to do and she has also gained a great deal of admitation in the process. Well done Anita!

Hi, love the show. I thought the comments by Bruno on Saturday 26th about Anita and Brendan's Argentine Tango were unfair as the A shape he referred to is mainly in the Milonga and not the Argentine Tango which was the the remit for this dance. They were great - it was beautiful to watch well done! Good luck Anita and get well soon Robin.

Please disregard comments made about Bruno on 84 as I have mixed up the comment Bruno made about Holly and Artem's tango with Anita and Brendan's Cha Cha. Arragh! Sorry. Hope Anita wins she is great - full of energy and enthusiasm and she is improving every week.

Very sad to see Anita go this week. I don't think it was the right result. She carried herself with such class, but still had so much fun and threw herself wholeheartedly into the process. She was such a delight to watch.

When there is a call for a public vote, anything can happen.....many people are ageist, sexist and how good do you look, NOT what you do and how well you do it....Ms Dobson is an absolute professional, a hard worker, and you could see that she thoroughly appreciated being on SCD, almost as much as Mr Grant :)))! I for one will miss seeing her making Mr Windsor sweat during rehearsals! :)) Ms Dobson you are an absolute role model and I would have loved to see you get through all the way to the end of this series of SCD! If you are in the Live Show at the O2 you will make alot of people very happy!

I agree that it wasn't the right result. At least two or three (no names!) of the others should have gone before you. However the number of bloggers for the other contestants unfortunately gave a clue as to which way the wind was blowing. However some bloggers seem to make it a conversation between themselves and friends/family with not much content about the dancing. Haven't had time to read many and, having never blogged before, maybe that is what blogging is about. However it just seems that people want to ensure their favourite has the largest number of blogs so will write anything. Your bloggers always have something pertinent and encouraging to say.



You were gracious in defeat Anita and it was lovely of you to console Brendan - I had noticed that also.



Somehow the joy seems to have gone out of the competition. Don't know if I can bear to vote anymore!



Interesting to find out from above that the results are pre-recorded. As soon as the telephone votes had been added to the other results after the Saturday show I guess? We had wondered that but didn't know how some of the audience could be trusted not to divulge the results.



Hope that you don't give up dancing Anita and, as one of your others bloggers said, it would be good to see Brian dancing next year! He has obviously enjoyed watching and supporting you.

Across the blogs there are many complimentary remarks for Anita. I don't think anyone has failed to notice her sense of fun, her sheer determination and her genuine humility. Appreciation well deserved.

Thanks for info about the other blogs, lincolnduncan. It was lovely to read some of them, particularly those on the Anita Dobson Leaves SCD blog. I see you've posted there and have added a quick one myself just so that Anita can seen we're still thinking of her!

I'm so going to miss these two.



For me, Robin's been a great addition to the pro-dancing team and has brought the very best out of the two partner's he's had during the two season's he's been involved.



I was very impressed with the way Anita's held herself after being voted out, great grace and poise and really good example of how to deal with defeat, having tried her very best..

Assume Robin's foot infection has meant he couldn't take part in this year's ITT pro dancer botafogo challenge. Such a shame as I think he would have been rather good at it..
