EXCLUSIVE: Training Video - Rory Bremner and Erin Boag

As a mimic... you would expect he should be good at looking and copying..other people so you see him looking at Erin's every move.. and looking at this he seems to be doing just that.. he should be one to watch.

Team Flavant - for Flavia and Russell - already in existence on Twitter and Facebook - the team thats going to have the most fun this year!

I agree with southwinds58 - he's one to watch! Always liked him and pleased to see that he seems a really nice bloke.

Erin is such an effective teacher. She always gets the best out of her students, particularly in the Ballroom. I must say, Rory is looking very trim!

I think these two will go far. He moves with grace of a dancer already!

Erin looks like a great teacher and Rory is watching and listening. They're halfway there!

I think Rory has the right attitude for working with Erin and if he listens to her they will go far.

I'm sure Erin will make a fantastic ballroom dancer of Rory but not sure about the latin side of things - we must wait and see what happens to his hips!

I'm looking forward to seeing what Erin can do Rory. As you say flat feet he will be great in the ballroom dances and may surprise us in the Latin :):)

I don't think I have ever seen a celebrity entrant that wasn't an immediate likely contender for the trophy apply so much work effort and commitment to getting it right as Rory. From the start of the clip that is the thing that was immediately apparent to me watching the clip for the first time. And you can see that, I think, has a knock-on effect for Erin as it makes her job easier. You can see her try to mould I think Rory. You can see she appears to be taking him through the basics and the proper posture.



Last series, the Cha-Cha-Cha or Waltz was the Week 1 choice (which went back to Week 1 of Series 1, 2 & 3) and it looks like Erin/Rory is set to choose the Waltz if the Cha-Cha-Cha and Waltz are again going to be the two options for Week 1. Her high for that is a 37 with 6 of the 8 she has done in the 20's. I see Rory and Erin easily getting in the 30's if Rory's training works out as well as I hope.

Good partnership - he is lucky to get Eric she is a class act - lookin good so far - hope to see them go the distance

Yes I think 'class act' will sum up their future partnership well - they are obviously comfortable with each other, but will feel better when we see him moving during a latin dance. It's early days and we know Erin is such a brilliant teacher so all could work out well for them.

Team Rorin? Couldn't agree more with southwinds58 - Rory's a professional mimic and as such his approach is different - you can see him absorbing all the detail. In a way it reminds me a bit of Pamela last time. I'll definitely be watching this couple with interest...

Interested to read that Rory suffers from dyslexia which could well make it quite difficult for him to pick up the steps - Kara Tointon also suffers from dyslexia but it didn't seem to effect her much last year did it?!!!!

Hoping these two will really gel - Erin has this dry, wry wit which should go well with Rory's acute observation. Could make for a great partnership. And look at that frame for ballroom! Fab-u-lous!

PennyDropper Yes looks like they are getting along extremely well and agree they have the makings of a great ballroom partnership - looks like they will be kicking off with the waltz first so we shall see how they do.

Just read Erin's twitter page and all's going very well with training in Manchester - she says they are keen on the Team name of 'RoBo' which sounds great - short, sweet and businesslike!

Erin is known as one of the queens of the ballroom and it looks like she has unearthed certainly a ballroom talent in Rory. You can see the chemistry already. I found it amusing though when he said he was going to find some seasick tablets because of all the spinning around. If he thinks that is bad how is he going to cope if he stays in long enough for the Viennese Waltz which is nothing but spinning? Team Robo sounds interesting for a name but I was wondering about Team Rorrin for a name.
