EXCLUSIVE: Training Video - Robbie Savage and Ola Jordan

I really like Ola..... not so keen on Robbie but I'm hoping he'll surprise me ;):)

If his hair gets in his eyes he needs to wear a hairband. I'm sure Ola would lend him one!!!

Ola does look rather concerned and must say Robbie doesn't look like a natural dancer, but as a sportsman he's willing to work hard - looks like problem may be a mental one at this early stage - but Ola is a great teacher, so hopefully things will start to improve soon. Team Name: Robola -

Common Robbie - 2,3 cha cha cha. Get your feet sorted out, then worry about the hands later. Poor chap's out of his comfort zone and can't hide behind any acting skills. He needs some way to chill out so he can relax into it a bit more. I feel for them both.



Fantasy team names based on both full names:

goalie, bova, rolo, slobber, robber, lavage, garbage, bibo, logjob, ravage, vase, bobbie, roblob, ebola, lara, vaseline

They already have an official team name - Team Savola!

I still think Rola is better :) and thanks flat feet :)

BBC Suzy - Please see blogs above re Team Names - Could you tell us who is actually responsible for picking the dancers Team Names? Is it the Celeb Dancers themselves maybe who do this? would be interested to know - perhaps it would be better to do this occicially through 'It Takes Two' first programme so everyone can see the final results on air? You have been asking for our suggestions at top of page so could you let us know what the official line on this is please? thanks

The couples usually decide their own team names but that doesn't stop us making suggestions or in my case making up fantasy ones.

I would love them to use team Rola :D cant wait for the show to begin as I think I have said before now lol x

There's something about Robbie that rubs me up the wrong way. I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Still, I've promised myself I'll try and be open-minded this year, so I'm hoping I'll reassess my opinion as the series progresses.

Robbies smile makes me go weak at the knees, lets hope Robbies doesn't do the same on the night!

Normally all past sportsmen have been excellent dancers especially the luscious Mark Ramprakash. However, I think Robbie might struggle. He seems very stiff and ponderous, not much natural rhythm. I bet he takes longer to do his hair than Ola does! Good luck, I think he'll need it! Maybe a Head and Shoulders ad would be on the cards afterwards?

Know what you mean Sid1979.... I'm sure he thought Strictly was going to be a doddle for him - Mark Ramprakash had it all he was a fit sportsman plus tons of sex appeal and that wonderful natural rhythm that just cannot be taught - Ola has been known to create miracles, afraid with Robbe she's going to need to! do hope I'm proved wrong for her sake.

Robbie has admitted in an article that he might not have signed up for SCD had he realised how difficult training would be for the show. I thought football training looked tough but it seems dance training is even tougher!

I heard someone say that they have been called Team Savola but if this wrong like Bunny and flatfeet I would call them Team Rola.

Yeah, i watched this live show and the dance of Robbie and Ola was amazing. I would definitly say it was a brilliant performance.
