Strictly Live Show Week 6 - 6th November 2010

Wow, a real variation of dances to look forward to tonight! Off to get comfy in front of the tv, hope everyone enjoys the show tonight - must admit, I am looking forward to seeing what Ann and Anton have in store for us this week, but am really hoping for another good week for Scott and Matt :-)

Evening all. Need to be wowed this evening as very tired. Anyone watch ITT last night? Was it me or did Claud not tell us who was dancing which dance on the friday panel. I had to guess. Whilst were obvious others were anyone's guess.

Well, here we go again. No doubt we'll watch Ann and Anton "dance" last or second-to-last yet again and, equally without doubt, tomorrow evening we'll watch them go through at the expense of someone far better. How much longer can this go on? I wonder what the other dancers (both celebrities and professionals) feel when Ann goes through week after week? I also wonder what Ann herself feels about it but, being an ex-MP, I don't suppose she has a conscience!

Seen this programme on BBC1 before Strictly? Talking animals! Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous?

You know bruce given the population figures they musta been, but from the side of the family we don't talk about. Lets say there was an accident this ice berg broke off the floe and hit this ship going to New York. We all hac to keep a low profile after that.

Nice try by Kara sweet girl, not danced well.

I think Artem was trying to be overly flashy to hide Kara being a bit lack lustre. The moves were all there but the finesse was not. It could and should have been so good.

at least they actually did salsa through almost the whole dance (Patsy did about 2 bars in her salsa!)

It looked like some moves were started/led, but didnt work - but they covered well

Nooooo Chassay, I think Kara is great and deserving, but ya can only say wot you see, like Catchphrase. Trick is too look too not just see.

This show is fantastic it is getting hotter by the week Bruce and Tess are just brilliant Bruce Forsyth where is his OBE.The orchestra and singers second too only James last Orchestra there Brilliant love too sit down with a cuppa and feet up sometimes I dance myself and Mum

Also I'd say 6 out of ten is a good score, a positive score. We don't want paddles that go to eleven.



Now Pam here is doing OK, nothing drastic, a solid 7.

What sort of clarity Captain? I thought the lifts were still dance specific.

Beginning to think SCD is living in a bubble and you know what happens to bubbles! Someone has to worry for their souls.

Too much phaffing about at start? Mmmmmmm not really. Quite dramatic and controlled Dfer 8, opps rag doll end down to a 7.

Is it a good idea to be on the floor in the middle of a dance? I don't think so.

Oh well I take back the comment about Ann being on earlier - I thought she meant 3rd or 4th.



I don't take too much notice of the order but it must be harder to get good marks from the judges if you are on early (not that there's any danger of that for Ann).

Why keep complimenting the singers - they are simply average at best, but pretty awful most of the time. Bruce at his usual worst - unfortunately watching live tonight instead of sky+ and starting 20 minutes late to skip though Bruce's appalling, unfunny links. C'mon bring in John Barrowman NOW.

Well I'm not a fan of the QS but I enjoyed that very much.

Kara was fantastic, i couldnt believe she did that cart wheel and stuff, brilliant.



Jimi's dance was very good,really liked it and the same with pamela, a great song choice, Let there be love!

Hi there, Im new to this, but I am watching tonights show and I am a big fan of Strictly. But have I missed something, when have they been able to do lifts, I thought it was restricted to just Argentine Tango and Show dance, but they seem to be doing them in any dance. Can anyone help me out?

I'm warming to Felicity, she's showing a bit of humility and I think the process has really got to her. Kara is lovely but doesn't seem to have much depth.
