quite a mixedbag of comments from the judges tonight, plus quite a mixed show from the contestants, i think that the quicksteps were too fast for some of the couples, although scott and natalie put on a great show with theres. i agree with len, matt and aniola could have bn a little less pacey, and played safe with slowingdown a notch.

results show should be interesting tomorrow, but after lastweeks diasarrrrster(as craig would say)results, nobody is safe.from chris, blackpool.

Another crackin' show this week - will be interesting to see who is booted off in the results show...I've voted for my favourites so fingers crossed they stay in!!

Michelle and Brendan look really down in the after photo, her body language is all closed in, is it anger or upset? She does not seem to be enjoying herself like the others. It's a shame, she should just try to enjoy it, it's not supposed to be so serious.

  • Comment number 4.

Yes, Michelle really does stand out as unhappy.

  • Comment number 5.

Agree about Michelle. She does appear to be feeling a bit hard done by, but I didn't think her rumba was that good. Not sure her partnership with Brendan is working.

I would like to extend my sympathies to Brendan and his family on the sad loss of his father yesterday. What a true professional he is, that he kept the news to himself and continued with the show last night thereby giving Michelle her chance to perform. We will all look forward to his return from New Zealand very soon, and wish Michelle all luck in the arms of her more than capable stand-in Ian Waite.

    Oh dear, for Brendan! :(

    Appreciate you mentioning Pasopamela.

My condolences go out to him as well.

And Michelle now with Ian Waite (for the time being).

By the way, that 'Energy Plate' on the menu looks intriging. Ideal for dancers I suppose :)

  • Comment number 8.

Poor Brendan, my condolences to him and his family.

  • Comment number 9.

Good luck to all the contestants, think paul or ann should go but doubt they will, missing the dance off.

  • Comment number 10.

My condolences to Brendon on the loss of his dad. He is by far the best professional dancer.

  • Comment number 11.

what sad news for poor brendan and his family. xxxx

  • Comment number 12.

our thoughts go out to Brendan at this sad time and I'm sure he'll be wishing Michelle good luck for this week

  • Comment number 13.

Heart goes out to Brendan after the sad loss of his father. No wonder he seemed out of sorts on the weekend. Hopefully he will take the time he needs and come back fighting. Good luck to Michelle with Ian next week.

Why have the beeb relegated several of strictlys best dancers to 3 minute stints on the results show this year?

It would not be quite as bad if the replacements they have brought in were better than the dancers they have ousted. The replacements do not have the personality or dancing ability of the likes of Darren, Mark Mathew or Lilia. The other thing that stands out is that the new dancers do not choreograph the routines to the standards of the old pro's which is resulting in a drop in standard of the show overall. Having said all that i am still loving it!!!
