I would like to ask - Was Anton teamed with Anne W in retribution by producers for last season's apparently racial comments? Or was it for comedy effect given their different sizes

Can you ask Anton to tweet, would love to be kept up to date with his progress, pleeease?

I would like to ask Strictly why there are no pages on the new website with biographies for the professional dancers this year, in particular the new dancers, both those dancing with the celebrities and the pro dance team, so that we can learn more about them. Or am I missing seeing it on the site?

Time is the most precious resource we can ever have. What is your favourite waste of time? For some guidance towards an answer I'd ask, does your waste of time mean an increase of tempo or is it a more languid one?



I have many. This blog for one. Also a Kit-Kat dipped in coffee while watching the street life is another. Other times dancing around my room wearing headphones.

Please can someone post the show dates inc the final date. We always arrange a party for this date, so need it asap. I can not find the dates listed on the web site.

I would like to know why the film quality of some of the bits of the first show were so poor - for example, the dance troupe bits. It's nothing like the quality of the bits which are usually filmed live, i.e. when Bruce and the judges are talking. It actually spoiled my enjoyment of the programme.

Would you rather be the Jedi Knight(Like Luke Skywalker) or Sith Lord (like Darth Vader) of this series- ie goodie or baddie?



eg : Brendan Cole is definately a Sith, but the baddies do get the best scenes always in movies.

I am hoping the dance machine challenge will be back on ITT.

@christina (post 38) All the dates were up on the BBC Tickets site when ticket applications were open. The final is the 18th of December.



Otherwise every Saturday, plus shows on Friday 1st October and Friday 10th December. No Sunday results on the 3rd October, not sure about how the results will work for semi-final week double-header.

Will there be more Len's Masterclass?

I'm a young dancer who has recently fallen and am unable to dance at all for the next three months. Most dancers experience injuries at some point in their careers, but this is my first major one. Any tips on how to get my confidence back and not feel to nervous when I start dancing again?

Is there any chance at all that this year for the very FIRST time, the producers can get hold of decent cameramen? EVERYONE I speak to wants to see the whole body including the feet of the dancers all the time. Why do they insist on giving us 2 seconds of whole body, 2sec of faces, 2 sec of upper body, 2 sec of feet only and so on. We dont get a chance to see the whole performance.

Or is that a deliberate ploy???? To stop us seeing what the judges see?

I whole-heartedly second Carol who voices a request for camerawork which shows the dancers from head to toe all the time. The fashion for hyperactive swooping and switching camerawork does induce motion sickness at times and more importantly prevents viewers from getting a true picture of the dance.



I also miss Lilia ....



and finally ...... Ann Widdecombe ... why? The poor woman needed help to walk down the stairs how on earth can she compete in a dancing competition!!!!???

This years line up looks very interesting. It was humbling to hear Tina O'Brien's comment during the group dance practice that she was "star struck" seeing Michelle Williams. Nice to know she is a grounded young lady.

Please hope this year that the viewers will be voting on the dancing and not the comedy elements.

If I was to make a prediction before the competition starts I would say Michelle, Felicity and Matt may be the three stars in the final. Watch this space

How do the producers work out the dates if a celebrity has to pull out during the show e.g. following an illness or injury?

Anton and Ann aren't exactly best matched for height! I'd like to know what problems this may be creating - for both of them!

Loads of questions used to get asked last year on the messageboards and very rarely were any asked usually becuause ITT ran out of time.

They are what Strictly is all about..and what makes it better than watching the other side.We are a community...and we like to chat while the programme is on, and have clubs to support the celebs.Many friends have been made on the boards,and this new system will ruin all of that.

We had many threads to read through. Not a blog..that's for kids.

Why should we suffer..the very people you put the programme on for,just because you want to change the site. You can do that without spoiling our fun.

Please,bring back our messageboards,or Strictly will become just another programme that means little else than an hour or two of telly.
