Calories:too many to even count

But calories at the weekend only count as half weekday calories. This is a scientific fact. If you deserve the calories, they feed your ego and sense of worth rather than your waistline. During the week this is different of course but Saturday and Sunday is a diet holiday. If you need evidence for these claims, I think I read it somewhere once.
Saturday was a Cheltenham Literary Festival day and met some lovely folk there with some super-smart kids. Then got to chat with the terrific Frank Cottrell Boyce, Melvyn Bragg and shared a cab and train with Horrid Henry creator Francesca Simon. The weird thing is that her dad was called Mayo Simon! He was a screenwriter and every time one of his films in on the TV, people think I nicked my name from him. The cheek of it!
Today it is BRIDGET JONES day on the bookclub with Helen Fielding and Mad About The Boy. There's a chapter here of course but you probably know everything you need to know about BJ3 (if I may try that again) already.
