Whistle, hoot and clang

Brighter, cheerier. Morning etc Here we go with a TUNESDAY which we haven't done for a while. Songs longer than 5 minutes only after 6. Drivetime tends to be full to overflowing with natural goodness and so anything longer than 5 mins never gets a look in. And we all know that means we are missing out on a library full full of great songs. So every now and again we can indulge ourselves. We don't get many away (well they are long after all) but we'll make them classy. So even though you'll doubtless own most of them somewhere in your collection, you can thrill again to the power of hearing those great long songs over the radio one more time. Feel free to post them below or email the show if you'd rather
And, in amongst the extended grooves, how about CLANGERS oldies? Now some bloggers will have instantly heard the Clanger hoot in their head as soon as they heard the name, others will be puzzled. Here's the low down from BBC Onlne
Beloved children's show, the Clangers is being resurrected, with a new series in production for CBeebies in 2015.
Debuting in 1969, the show told the tale of a race of knitted aliens eking out a threadbare existence on a cold blue planet, not far from Earth.
The pink, mouse-like creatures lived in craters covered by dustbin lids - whose noisy "clang" gave the show its name.
Co-creator Peter Firmin said the new series would involve "great storytelling with lots of heart".
Now that seems like plenty to go on to me!
Have a clear-eyed and fresh-faced Tuesday, see you after 5
