Sail on silver girl

Cold dark Monday here, it’s almost like winter already. Gloves will have been lost, scarves fallen to the back of cupboards, hats covered in plaster dust and spiders. So we’ll be looking splendid today. Hope your weekend was a fine one, full of pies, films, books, music, tv, friends and family. And pies. Then more books. Three needed for this week, the first of which is today’s book club choice The House by Simon Lelic. It’s a psychological thriller about a couple who buy a house that they really shouldn’t have. Jack and Syd co-narrate this frightening tale which may well cause you to jump next time you hear a creaking floorboard or rattling pipe. Read a chapter here!

And thank goodness for World Kindness Day, a day to celebrate and promote kindness in all its forms. Buy chocolate for strangers, smile on public transport, compliment your bus driver. So as part of all that, your KINDNESS songs will sound fabulous.
