Well hey. Can’t say this is my favourite day, way too many nerves. Most of us remember the O Level, GCSE, Standard moment when the letter arrives with, so it appears, your future inside. Or you went to your school and leapt into the air for a fetching photo with your glamorous friends. Blimey. By the time you read this, it may well be all over/just beginning. Good luck to all pupils/teachers/parents who have so much tied up in that email drop.
Foodie Thursday with Nigel on a beach somewhere not as warm as London so the terrific Chetna Makan with us again. Chetna was wonderful when she was with us before and, with Bake Off back last night, perfect timing all round. By the time I got to watch last night's show it was after midnight but once you stop just to see how the jaffa cakes turn out, you're hooked. What a marvel it all is. Anyway Chetna is offering some Coriander Chicken Parcels and we say yes please and thank you.
And it’s Hungry Bob day too. He has rising Nashville star Charlie Worsham in session, and splendidly, the fourth and final series of Nashville starts tonight. So NASHVILLE oldies please and we’ll have enough rhinestone to last you a lifetime.
