Good morning groovers and welcome to another week of general fabulousness. Hope the weekend was a good one. Best thing here was seeing Big Hero 6 with child 3. I have never been asked to 'laugh more quietly' before. This was quite something. There are scenes in this Disney animation that are still making me laugh 48 hours later-as long as no one asks me for a fist bump, I’ll have calmed down by 5pm. I still haven’t seen Birdman but my bet is I prefer Big Hero 6 (so shallow).
Book club day today and I’ve been aware of Gavin Extance’s The Mirror World of Melody Black since Matt raved about it a few months back. Gavin has been on before with The Universe Vs Alex Woods and this is another sparkler of a novel. There’s a chapter here if you fancy some homework before tonight. Rebecca said the main character Abby was a bit like her, well chances are she’s changed her mind by now…
And in keeping with Gavin’s title, how about MIRROR and REFLECTION songs! Never before explored (I think!).
