It is true that tofu has a noble history. It is true that tofu has many uses. But that doesn’t mean I’m particularly looking forward to it. Bean curd is healthy-low calorie, high protein-and you make it sweet or savoury, fermented, dried, fried, frozen, soft, firm or extra firm. So it is super-flexible, just not super tasty. What you need is a super talented chef to make it sparkle. And then maybe someone to add a selection of mustards, just in case. I am, as ever, open minded and happy to have my mind changed. Bring on the coagulated soy milk!

Well yesterday’s caravan confession brought out many interesting reactions, plus the usual ‘take them off the road’ vs ‘don’t offend my lovely Kylie’ stuff. We always caravanned as a family and many fond memories of the balmy summer days; less so of the frozen Easter nights as the condensation froze on the windows. Oh and that chemical toilet was such a delight…But CARAVAN tunes will work fantastically I think.
