Greetings! Tally ho! Onwards! Upwards! Sideways! Here we go into another Tuesday with the 10th windows opening in the advent calendars of the nation. Apart from mine. Unless I have totally lost my wits, I don't have a door 10. I shall instead open one of my son's as he has plenty. I shall ignore the chocolate as it is the of the worst kind (even worse than American chocolate) but I need to open a door with 10 on it. Just as well I don't walk the Whitehall beat anymore...
So Stephen Fry today, down the line from New York. He's always great fun of course but he has much to be chipper about. His Malvolio in Twelfth Night is getting 5 star reviews and the whole show is the talk of Broadway. And there's the small matter of The Hobbit 2 which opens next week in which he plays the nauseating, oleaginous Sheriff of Laketown. And while we are at it, STEPHEN FRY oldies should keep us ticking along quite nicely.
