Hey. Friday. Not freezing. Coffee. Smiling happy faces. Cheery workers calling out greetings to strangers. Messages of peace and harmony in the news (ok so somewhere there I might have lost it). But anyway it still feels good. Dress down Friday of course which for me means gardening clothes and 2 shows on the way.
Firstly it's movies with Michael Caine talking Youth in which he plays a retired composer and conductor contemplating old age with Harvey Keitel (and a naked Miss Universe, obviously). He's great company and he's SIR MICHAEL CAINE.
Then we'll trip the light fantastic with some ARF fabulousness. And after due process, 1973 has been chosen as the opening year of requirement. Hello VAT, hello women at the London Stock Exchange (really? Good grief!) and hello Last of the Summer Wine. And quite a few fine, big and noisy tunes to select if you're in the mood.
