Ok a number of things. First of all I have no idea why I forgot tot ell you what the oldie theme was yesterday. Apart from manifest incompetence. There I was watching The Evil Dead (moral: if you come across a book wrapped in barbed wire, don't open it) when my omission was made plain but it was too late. Thanks for filling in the blanks folks! And the other thing is the blog re-jig which another surprise. Another hurdle that is placed before us. Though I wonder if it might be an improvement? Isn't it more logical? Anyway it'll probably have changed by the time you're reading this and be it'll be sorting by the opening letter of your first word, or your age, or the suitability of your song suggestion. Assuming I've remembered to tell you what it it is.
Actually I'll say it now before it's too late. It's FOOTWEAR. A Roman shoe hoard has been found in London where a temple to Mithras has been found with loads of slippers and assorted shoes. And already you have at least 3 suggestions I think...
Next week Radio 2 is running a whole load of features about the voice (not the TV show, that sound from your vocal chords,lungs, mouth etc) and we'll be rerunning an old Drivetime favourite (circa John Dunn) of the mystery voice competition! Hooray indeed. And Voxmosh will be needed. I know you love it.
