What ho!

Good day to bloggers old and new, vets and novices and those who just watch proceedings from afar. Hope all is good and the promised extra few degrees is making you smile. Suggestions abound that when this spring thing gets going, it's going to fly. This is just as well as the nights will be drawing in soon (this is not true) and then where will we be? So mystical and strange figures with two digits and no minus sign are being talked about. Can this be true? Some even have said 20 degrees by Sunday. This is patent nonsense and we will be crushed by the heel of climactic disappointment once again. But until then, goodbye to my Scandinavian-woven, double insulated with a fur-lined hood style jumper. You have served me well.
And after reading about those who have suffered greatly in recent weeks, let's do GARDEN CENTRE oldies, please. They have had a terrible time, no customers and are having to chuck plants away. But maybe this weekend is party time. Songs for your garden centre please on our new look, newest-comes-first blog.
This afternoon I have some more Americans to talk to. I sit in a room and shout down the phone joining in with many different style shows. I've done zany 'zoo'-style shows, thoughtful news shows and pedestrian no-hope-not-done-the-work-can't-be-bothered style shows. At the end of 9 more of these, my voice may well sound like Chris's. Nice work Vassos, by the way.
Nigel has a cheese and something soufflé to perform and the show's looking good. Have a tip-top and sparkling Thursday, see you after 5...
