Hey groovers. Hope the weekend was fun, if reassuring. Exciting but responsibly so. There are limits after all. I had the task of doing the University run, one last time. I had to enact the withdrawal of child 2 from Bristol (Brixit, obviously) and then spend Sunday being a tourist with our French exchange student. So we ventured to the London Eye, St Paul's and the drunks on the underground. Everything felt rather strange of course but we all kept calm and carried on.
Brand new week here on your drive time with the author of The Devil Wears Prada, Laura Weisberger on the show. Her new book is The Singles Game and in a remarkable piece of timing, it's a tennis romp about Charlotte Silver, her brutal coach Todd Feltner and assorted scandals and flouncing. Which sort of indicates we should return to WIMBLEDON oldies. Some things change but our seasonal tennis/grass/tantrum/glory/despair/'Come on Andy' tunes will be reassuringly fabulous. With your help of course...
