I spoke a million words

Well the weekend didn't quite work out the way I expected. Anyone who's got a dodgy back knows that it can all fall apart at anytime and that's what happened on Saturday. So Sunday dawns and it doesn't take long to realise that a trip to the park is the very last thing I need. So a day of being horizontal/propped up was ordered and orders were followed. SO mad that I missed it all! Plus all the chat back stage, admiration for Jeremy's dancing, Jo's outfits etc. Catch up time today...

So today we talk to radio stalwart and legend Jim Naughtie on his new Books That Changed History, a guide to more than 100 of the world's most celebrated, rare and important books. So these will be the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Little Red Book and Anne Frank's diary etc. Jim after 6.

And oldies today please inspired by the 75th anniversary of the Famous Five books. Five on a Treasure Island was first with the adventures of Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy the dog. There were 21 books form 1945-1962; I never saw them as a kid but enjoyed reading them to Child 1. Such larks! Japes! Lemonade! So it's FAMOUS FIVE ADVENTURE tunes please
