Made it through a sleep deprived Wednesday with very little hysteria observed. Sometimes I have been known to lose any sense of reality but not this time, a coherent show was in evidence for the most part. Mind you it does seem that Murray matters at Wimbledon seem to have been dominating most people's thoughts, even this esteemed blog becoming a useful place for tension/relief/analysis last night. Seems fair enough, we can all multi-task our media if needed and a lot of the Wimbledon highlights occur while we are on. When I look through the studio glass to the hub of production and engineering talent that works on the show and they're all staring at the TV screen, I know something is up! I then start juggling, doing handstands and acting provocatively to attract their attention, but it can't beat a Murray nail-biter so i play another Bruno Mars track or something.
And today for July 4th we'll do some American-style food with Nige and INDEPENDENCE DAY/JULY 4TH type tunes and their is plenty of AMERICANA to go round, even if Steve plays Bruce first.
