A delightful 4am start (with customary multiple wakings prior to alarm going off) to take child 3 to a school trip.They aren't gone for long but the need for passports, medicines, change of clothes, books, electronic stuff, snacks, breakfast, lunch and that thing I'll have forgotten means they might just as well have been going down the Amazon.
So now its 6.55 and I've read the paper, had breakfast and had my caffeine quota. Should be done for the day by the end of Ken Bruce. Afternoon sleep and then back raring to for another show which will feature a chat with Jon Cleave, Jason Nichols and Jon Lethbridge of Fisherman's Friends. Their new album is called One and All and is a tribute to the memory of their friend and fellow performer Trevor Grills who died, along with their tour manager Paul McMullen, after a tragic accident in Guildford last year.
