I'm on a train and have already had a bacon roll. This doesn't count as a proper bacon roll as its for work. And apparently if you're travelling at more than 70mph it's only 10 calories. Isn't science a wonderful thing! First of my new term teacher assistant posts about to be sorted for the good students of Leicester. Hope those nice OFSTED inspectors aren't planning a visit.

Good weekend? Yes thanks not bad. Less hectic than last and more words written. They could all be the wrong words but it's a risk I'll have to take. And then what? Ah yes. After the educational needs of the East Midlands have been sorted, a swift return to base and a Drivetime with former Welsh and British Lions captain Gareth Thomas as our guest. He's Wales most capped player and came out as gay in 2009. It's an astonishingly honest book-it begins when his wife has just left him and he has crawled into her wardrobe where he spends the night surrounded by her clothes and perfume. The conflict between the alpha male he was a lot of the time and the scared man he was the rest of it is at the heart of the book. He should make for compelling listening.

And we'll try oldies that have a CLASSICAL MUSIC link. Ken is launching the Ten Pieces project which aims to open up the world of classical music to children. Loads of hits have had a classical base or references to composers. Any you fancy?

Till then I have a lesson to prepare and another bacon roll to sample...
